Paul Weston – How to Destroy a Country

       Paul Weston

I am reproducing this video from July 2015 because I wish to invite my readers to compare the video and the accompanying transcript with the events that have transpired  in the intervening three years.

Many of the predictions that Paul Weston has made have come true – and some of the predictions have been surpassed by the draconian censorship of social media which has resulted in the “shadow-banning” of accounts on Twitter and Facebook, and the charging, prosecution, conviction and jailing of patriots under unjust “hate-crime” laws which are frequently invoked to persecute those who merely wish to speak the truth.

Here is the transcript from this video:

Paul Weston: How to Destroy a Country — TRANSCRIPT

We are in a war – a war against Islam and the forces arrayed against us on the left of the political spectrum. The most important thing in fighting any war is to KNOW YOUR ENEMY. Paul Weston’s video provides a blueprint in helping us to fight that enemy.

As Sun Tzu says in “The Art of War”

If you know the enemy and
know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred
battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy,
for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If
you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb
in every battle.

Hate Crime and the Death of Freedom of Speech in the UK

  This is Hate Crime

I yield to no one in my burning passion for Freedom of Speech. It is every Englishman’s birthright and the cornerstone of every civilised democracy in the Western world. One would have thought that it would be universally recognised as such and enshrined in law for all to benefit in perpetuity.

Unfortunately, many of the great and the good in this country, as in much of Western Europe, have other ideas. For them, Freedom of Speech in the UK is an annoying concept that prevents them from enforcing on us totalitarian concepts such as globalism, Islamic supremacism and the destruction of our much-loved and revered nation states.

One of the most compelling series of videos that I have come across recently that deals with some of the more ominous developments concerning our Freedom of Speech, comes from a gentleman by the name of Mike Lane. He details some of the machinations that go on behind the scenes, that if allowed to proceed unrestricted, unchecked and unchallenged, will result in the elimination of all the freedoms that we currently take for granted.

Mike Lane has a very down-to-earth style and lays out his concerns in a way that everyone can understand and identify with. He doesn’t propose a “magic bullet” solution to instantly solve the problem, merely to make everyone of goodwill (that is to say, non-Lefties and non-Muslims) aware of what is really going on.

The bottom line is that in the name of combating so-called Hate Crime, Freedom of Speech is being increasingly looked on as unavoidable collateral damage. Nobody in authority is stopping to think that the drive to criminalise the speech – and the thoughts – of ordinary men and women in this country will usher in an era of totalitarianism far, far worse that George Orwell ever envisioned in his novel 1984. Or maybe that is exactly what they do think, and that’s the problem.

(Personally, if it were down to me, I’d be calling for torches, pitchforks and tumbrils to escort every single politician and virtue-signalling do-gooder to the guillotine forthwith, (with perhaps the honourable exception of Paul Weston) but since guillotines have been declared a health and safety hazard by European Union directive FR-1792, I might have to content myself with sawing off Tony Blair’s head with a rusty bread-knife.)

Anyway, here are the three most recent videos from Mike Lane – they are well worth watching for his ability to transform and expose dry-as-dust concepts like the Home Affairs Select Committee into the ravenous monsters they really are. It really is well worth an hour or so of your time.              Part 1        Part 2          Part 3

As H.L. Mencken once said -“Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.”

Update – 24 February – Surprise, surprise, the videos have been taken down from YouTube. Given the time and trouble to produce an hour’s worth of professional presentation and content, I doubt that Mike Lane did this of his own accord. I will be investigating the reasons behind the removal of these videos and will report back as soon as I can.

Why the Jordan Peterson / Cathy Newman interview could be a turning point for free speech

One of the biggest problems with public discourse in the West today is that the articulation of speech that deviates from the Leftist norms of political correctness is met with systematic abuse – “racism”, “bigotry”, “fascism”, “prejudice”, “misogyny” “alt-right” or “right-wing” or – heaven forfend! –  even “Islamophobia”.

Part of the problem is that we have by and large lost the educational techniques of debating difficult subjects in public – the process of free, uncensored debate is no longer encouraged in our schools and universities, and most people find that by the time they have developed an interest in, say, politics, philosophy and economics for example, and wish to take up a position that would have been considered “moderate” only fifty years ago, they are smeared with one or more of the epithets listed above and threatened with social ostracism,  the loss of their employment, or even the loss of their liberty under increasingly arbitrary “hate speech” laws. This naturally discourages reasoned debate and critical analysis, an outcome which is to the detriment of us all, especially given the immense challenges facing our democratic Western civilisation today.

A remarkable interview between Professor Jordan Peterson and Cathy Newman of Channel 4 Television took place recently. It was viewed over two million times on YouTube and the general consensus was that the social justice warrior Cathy Newman had her ass handed to her by the learned Professor Peterson. (She was reportedly rather upset by this.) The most delicious “gotcha” moment is at 23m 05s, however an in-depth analysis of the implications of the interview reveals an unexpected dimension.

This video of Paul Weston on Robert Spencer’s Jihad Watch website explains it very well. It is well worth 45 minutes of your time to watch both the video and the original interview, and for you then to encourage everyone you know who cares about free speech to watch the video and the interview too.
